"One out of every two women experiences some form of digital violence during her lifetime, and women are 27 times more likely than men to face online harassment. In Türkiye, one out of every five young internet users reports having been subjected to digital violence.

This guide was prepared as part of the “Put an End to Digital Violence Against Women and Girls” campaign carried out by UN Women Türkiye and UNFPA Türkiye. The guide is based on the outcomes of the “Rethinking Violence in the Digital Age” workshop, which was organized with the financial support of the Governments of Norway and New Zealand to ensure conceptual consistency on digital violence."
